Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit card payment.

We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Parties
The "Company" means Nationwide Mobility Service.
The "Customer" means the person, firm of company buying goods from the company.
The "goods" means the goods and products described in our catalogue, website, and on our invoice or receipt.

Prices
The company reserves the right to amend prices, both up and down. The company aims to offer the latest range of enabling products at prices consistently below industry standard.
Delivery within the UK Mainland
Whenever possible, domestic market orders will be despatched within 2-7 working days (depending on stock availability). If you have not heard from us within 7 days, please contact us by telephone (08000 430 745).

Orders are subject to a £3.99 standard delivery charge. Certain oversize items may be subject to additional charges, we will notify you in advance if this is the case. Please note, subject to stocks, you may receive your order in separate deliveries.

Claims
We must be notified within 3 days of reciept of order if goods are delivered short or damaged. Outer packaging and damaged goods must be retained for inspection if claims are to be considered. Please call 08000430745 or email: sales@nmsdirect.co.uk

Specification
Every effort is made to ensure our catalogue or website descriptions and illustrations are clear and accurate. All colours and size are approximate. The reproduction of colours is as accurate as photographic and printing processes allow. Due to our policy of continual improvement some products may vary from those described. The company reserves the right to amend the specification, construction and/or design without prior notice.

Payment
Payment can be made by Switch, MasterCard and Visa credit card, or by cheque made payable to NMS Direct, at point of order, by telephone or fax. All cheque payments must be cleared prior to goods being despatched. We reserve the right to amend prices at anytime.

VAT
Qualifying Individuals purchasing products for their own personal use may be exempt from paying VAT. We will require you to sign a simple declaration form that confirms you are eligible to receive goods at a VAT exempt price. Any VAT exemption claim will be processed to each client upon receipt of the VAT exemption form as required by HM Customs & Excise. If you are eligible for relief, and complete the declaration form.

Warranty and Guarantee
All of our products come with a full 12 months guarantee against faulty manufacture or materials. This warranty does not cover maintenance problems such as flat batteries and punctures.

Specialist Advice
For specialist advice regarding the suitability of a product, we recommend that you contact an Occupational Therapist through your Local Social Services. Your local Disability Living Centre may also be able to help. For details of your local centre, call the DLF Helpline on 0870 6039177.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges Individuals:
If you are chronically sick or disabled and the products are for your personal use, you are then VAT exempt.

Charities:
VAT is exempt where the goods are made available by the charity to a disabled person for their personal or domestic use.

Non-eligible customers:
If you are not eligible for VAT relief, we are obliged to charge you 17.5% VAT on the whole of your order.

Which products are eligible for VAT Relief?
If you are eligible you can buy all of the products marked VAT Exempt without having to pay VAT.

Declaration Form:
The government requires that you complete a VAT declaration form, and we are pleased to say that you can now do this, once you've placed your order, by checking the VAT Exemption Box at the checkout or by sending us a copy of the order form which has the VAT declaration form on it.

Please Note:
If you do not fill in and sign the VAT declaration form, VAT at 17.5% will be added to the whole of your order.
Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Privacy Policy Nationwide Mobility Service do not disclose buyers information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
